According to the Independent, Emil Forsberg’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya has spoken out about RB Leipzig fending off interest for the winger this summer, suggesting the Bundesliga club owe it to the player to let him leave amid interest from Arsenal and a host of other sides.

“I and Emil have always accepted the club and the contracts with them. When Emil went there, the ambition was to take the team to the Bundesliga and then the Champions League. He has been involved with them all the way and broke records in their shirt,” he said.

North London club Arsenal are believed to be willing to offer as much as £20 million offer for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg, according to reports coming from the British Isles.

The 25-year-old Forsberg is having a brilliant season in Bundesliga, where he is widely regarded as one of the top performers this term with eight goals and 15 assists in 25 league appearances.
