According to the Daily Star, Leicester City have not received an offer from Arsenal for Algerian forward Riyad Mahrez. Manager Craig Shakespeare revealed there hasn’t been an approach from any club and are expecting him to stay at the King Power Stadium as a result.
“I’m not worried. Can it be disappointing when a player comes out publically? Yes. I think we have to look what is behind that as well, in terms of advice,” he told Sky Sports. Arsenal, who were unsuccessful in signing Mahrez last summer, reportedly bid £35m for the Leicester winger but no progress has been made.
