Fabio Capello a surprise candidate for Arsenal job 0

Posted on March 28, 2018 by David Nugent

According to the Daily Star, former England and AC Milan boss, Fabio Capello could be a shock candidate to be the next Arsenal boss.

A number of candidates have been mooted to fill the post, despite current incumbent Arsene Wenger still having a contract until the summer of 2019. The likes of Carlo Ancelotti, Thomas Tuchel and Brendan Rodgers have all been linked with the job.

Fabio Capello really?

When I read this I thought it was a joke from Twitter. The veteran Italian boss is odds of 100/1 to be the Gunners next boss. However, for some reason, the Star believes that Capello, who left Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning by mutual agreement on Thursday, is a candidate.

According to Le10 Sport, Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has been targeted by an unnamed Chinese club, who are looking to unsettle the Frenchman and prize him away from the Emirates Stadium to the Chinese Super League. Koscielny has been at Arsenal for seven years since his move from Lorient, making 290 appearances for the Gunners.

But he could be on his way out if reports are to be believed…..

Brazil star Hulk reveals Arsenal dream 0

Even though they are struggling to claim the top-four finish in the Premier League this season and regularly keep on failing to get into a title race in English top tier, Arsenal remain a favourable destination for many top-class footballers and it would be wrong to assume otherwise.

The latest star player to publicly declare his interest in playing for the Gunners is Brazilian forward Hulk.

The 30-year-old Brazil international is currently plying his trade in the Chinese Super League after becoming one of the first prominent football stars to jump on the gold-laden Chinese bandwagon.

Arsenal linked with move for Edinson Cavani (Again!) 0

With Leicester and England striker Jamie Vardy leaving Arsenal whistling in the wind over whether he’s joining them or not, it seems the Gunners have a back-up plan. Unfortunately it seems it is a name mentioned at least twice a transfer window when it comes to Arsenal and never signs. It is Edinson Cavani.

According to the Daily Express, the Uruguayan currently plying his trade with French champions PSG is the Gunners back-up plan.

Hasn’t he been constantly linked with Arsenal though?
