Arsene Wenger’s time as manager of Arsenal Football Club is finally coming to an end, and while many are celebrating it, others find themselves feeling a tad nostalgic. After all, most supporters of the Gunners have grown up with the Frenchman as the only real ‘constant’ at the club, and now he’s going to be riding off into the sunset. Well, not quite the sunset depending on whether or not they win the Europa League, but they’ll still have the memories of all the great things he’s done – right?

According to the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on joining Real Madrid if the Gunners do not offer him a new deal in the summer. The veteran French boss’ contract expires in the summer and there are still doubts over whether he will stay at the club.

The Telegraph claim that Arsenal have offered Wenger a new two-year deal worth £10million per-year.

Wenger has been linked with the Real Madrid job in the past and has even reportedly turned down the big job in Madrid down in the past. The Telegraph now claims the Spanish capital is now Wenger’s preferred destination.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was offered a chance to become the highest-paid football boss in the world with an unnamed Chinese club reportedly offering legendary Frenchman £30 million per year.

According to reports from Telegraph, the Professor has rejected a chance to move east as uncertainty over his Arsenal future remains.

Arsene Wenger has recently admitted that he is yet to reach the final decision on whether he would be remaining at Arsenal next season, but pointed out that regardless of the decision, he would remain in football.
