Inter Milan summer recruit Yann Karamoh claims Premier League club Arsenal wanted to sign him prior his loan move to Serie A.

Former Caen forward joined Nerazzurri on deadline day this summer in a transfer arrangement which will make his loan move permanent after two campaigns.

The 19-year-old is coming off from a breakthrough season in Ligue 1 during which he scored five goals and managed four assists in 36 competitive outings. Despite the tender age, Karamoh earned his place in the starting line-up at Caen thanks to his emerging qualities that got him on the radar of the host of European big sides last term.

Caen star Yann Karamoh continues to draw plenty of transfer attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be interested for Caen forward who bagged five goals for the Ligue 1 outfit last season.

Arsene Wenger is reportedly keen on the 19-year-old who is seen as direct replacement for Lucas Perez as Spaniard nears departure from Emirates.

Lucas Perez has been given permission to leave just a year after he joined Arsenal from Deportivo La Coruna. La Liga side are keen on a reunion, but Perez is currently negotiating a move with Turkish giants Fenerbahce who are prepared to offer a more lucrative deal to the Arsenal striker.

According to Italian news outlet Tutto Mercato, Arsenal are considering hijacking Everton’s £16million move for AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang.

The 22-year-old Frenchman has already reported been on Merseyside to discuss a move and the striker is believed to have asked for time to think about the move.

Although AC Milan are Niang’s parent club, the striker spent the second half of last season on-loan at Premier League Watford. The youngsters campaign with the Hornets was a mixed one, as he only produced two goals and two assists in 16 appearances.
