According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are set to launch a £35million for highly-rated young Freiburg centre-back Caglar Soyuncu, despite the fact that the club has not yet named a successor to long-serving boss Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have reportedly interviewed a number of candidates for the job and have made their decision on Wenger’s successor. However, none of the prospective candidates were asked about Soyuncu.
Soyuncu is a highly-rated 21-year-old Turkish international, who has reportedly attracted interest from Premier League clubs and also German giants Bayern Munich. .......Read more here.....

Having single-handedly won the winter transfer market with their wise and astute moves for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to compensate for the departure of Aleixs Sanchez – while at the same time extending with Mesut Ozil – Gunners are already making plans for summer.
According to reports coming from Daily Star, Arsenal have set their sights on the 22-year-old German starlet Max Meyer.

North London giants Arsenal are keen to make a proper statement after seeing first-team star Alexis Sanchez leave for Manchester United.
The Gunners got Henrikh Mkhitaryan in return with Armenian expected to become a valuable signing and a quality addition to the squad. Mkhitaryan suffered from lack of regular playing time at Old Trafford but his overall talent and quality were never questioned.
To make things even better, Arsenal are currently negotiating a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Arsenal have the chance to officially seal their place in the knockout stages of the Europa League on Thursday night as the Gunners travel to Koln.
The Gunners are currently top of Group H and six points clear of third-place BATE Borisov, who have a vastly inferior goal difference to the visitors.

According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are in talks with German club Dortmund about appointing their chief scout Sven Mislintat. The Gunners are reportedly set to appoint Mislintat as the head of recruitment working alongside chief scout Steve Rowley, who was rumoured to be set for the Emirates exit.
Reports last week claimed that Rowley was leaving the club. However, it now seems the pair are set to work together. The Sky report claims a deal is close for the Gunners to complete the move for the highly-rated Mislintat, who is nicknamed ‘the diamond’.

Some Arsenal fans may well have criticised Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for his cautious nature over transfers in recent years, but the free signing of versatile Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Sead Kolasinac could be the bargain of the summer.

Growing list of reports is emerging with claims that head of Arsenal’s Academy Andries Jonker is ready to quit the London-based club for a return to Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
The Dutch former footballer and manager spent two years with Wolfsburg, prior to joining Arsenal in 2014. Jonker worked as an assistant manager to Dieter jecking at the Wolkswagen Arena helping the Wolves to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal in 2013.
The 54-year-old tactician replaced Liam Brady at the helm of the Academy at Arsenal, but the German media outlet Bild claims that Andries Jonker is now prepared to take the managerial role at the Wolves, who sacked manager Valerien Ismael on Sunday. .......Read more here.....

It seems that Arsenal may well have made a big mistake in the transfer market last summer. The Gunners decided to allow young German attacking midfielder Serge Gnabry to join Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.
While his club are near the bottom of the German top-flight table, Gnabry has been doing more than most to drag them up the league. In fact, on Friday night he scored a brace to help Werder record a 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.

Arsenal have been famous for developing young players in the last two decades under French boss Arsene Wenger. However, there are some youngsters that have had to leave the club to prove their worth elsewhere.
A youngster who left Arsenal just last summer has been impressing in the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen. That youngster is Serge Gnabry. The 21-year-old left the Gunners for a fee of just £6million in the summer.
He has since gone on to score seven goals in 15 appearances for Werder and scoring a hat-trick on his international debut for Germany in an 8-0 drubbing of San Marino .......Read more here.....
