Unsurprisingly we’ve been seeing many high profile names being linked with a move to Arsenal Football Club since Unai Emery’s appointment was confirmed. The Spaniard has been on the ball in more ways than one, showing an efficiency in the transfer market which we haven’t seen in years. We don’t know where it’s leading and we don’t know how many players he’s going to be able to bring in, but one way or another, you can’t help but love this progression if you’re an Arsenal fan.

It was a tense affair that took place in the early days of the Premier League’s existence, and as such, the Gunners hadn’t quite exploded into life just yet and they were still waiting to break their way into the title picture in a serious way.
