Arsenal forward Kaylen Hinds will be joining Vfl Wolfsburg this summer after manager Andries Jonker – former Arsenal Head of Academy – procured his signature in a deal reportedly worth £2m, according to the Evening Standard.
The 19-year-old is believed to have signed a contract with Wolfsburg until 2020 and will wear the #32 shirt. Hinds is being considered for a place in the first-team but he’ll have to impress during pre-season. He made little impact with Arsenal but is belied to be highly rated. Growing list of reports is emerging with claims that head of Arsenal’s Academy Andries Jonker is ready to quit the London-based club for a return to Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
The Dutch former footballer and manager spent two years with Wolfsburg, prior to joining Arsenal in 2014. Jonker worked as an assistant manager to Dieter jecking at the Wolkswagen Arena helping the Wolves to the semi-finals of the DFB Pokal in 2013.
The 54-year-old tactician replaced Liam Brady at the helm of the Academy at Arsenal, but the German media outlet Bild claims that Andries Jonker is now prepared to take the managerial role at the Wolves, who sacked manager Valerien Ismael on Sunday. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal’s Head of Academy Andries Jonker has lavished praise on young forward Alex Iwobi, whom he described as “incredibly motivated” and a “perfect player” which has led to his promotion to the first-team. The Gunners graduate has developed well in the last 12 months, and has been called up to the first-team by manager Arsene Wenger as a result.
“Every now and then we have had players who have attracted attention but I think the one who has succeeded most is Alex Iwobi, who is with the first team now. He played at home against Bayern Munich, made two very nice goals and was great for the team. Since then we haven’t seen him because he’s with the first team and that’s what it’s all about,” said Jonker. .......Read more here.....

Arsenal may be experiencing a quiet summer bringing in senior players, with just Petr Cech signed so far, but the Gunners have completed the signing of Reading youngster Jordi Osei-Tutu.
The 16-year-old could be playing alongside fellow new signings Vlad Dragomir and Yassin fortune next season in the Arsenal junior teams. The versatile Tutu has apparently been impressive in the Royals youth teams and can play in midfield and also on the wing.
The Gunners have a reputation for giving young players their chance in the senior team. Last season Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin broke into the first team squad and impressed at right-back. .......Read more here.....

Dutch coach Andries Jonker has agreed to take over as Arsenal Youth Academy manager from next summer, the Premier League side announced on their official website. The 51-year-old takes over the reigns from Liam Brady, who has decided to withdraw from the post.
The Gunners produced quite a coup by signing one of world’s top experts on youth development, who has been behind a long line of talents produced in the Netherlands. He has spent seven years in charge of various youth squads within the Dutch FA and also acted as a technical manager for the KNVB. .......Read more here.....
