According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has his pick of clubs this summer, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea reportedly keen on his signature. The England international, who has just 12 months left on his current deal, looks set to leave Arsenal as a result of a lack of playing time in his favourite position, but where will he go?

Liverpool still lead the race for the midfielder, with manager Jurgen Klopp a big fan of Oxlade-Chamberlain. The Arsenal player’s industry and creativity would see him fit into the Reds side and be a useful player for their Champions League campaign in 2017/18. And with Arsenal out of the prestigious competition, while having reportedly not offered a formal deal to the 23-year-old, it’s hard to see him remaining at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back in training and available for selection ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea. However, the English international has missed the Gunners’ last handful of games and has seen Hector Bellerin successfully deputise in his absence. So who will get the nod this weekend?

“Hector’s more naturally suited to the right-back role, but since the wing-back situation has come into play, that’s played into my hands and my favour. Both of us are capable of playing the position and, as you said, it was a bad time for me to pick up the injury coming into the end of the season and obviously the FA Cup final,” admitted the Ox.
