Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has hailed the impact of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez this season and believes the duo are making the difference for the Gunners in the title-race. Ozil leads the assist charts in the Premier League this campaign, while Alexis Sanchez was the Londoners’ top scorer last season.
The pair should both start against Leicester City on the weekend, and Arsenal are 4/5 to pick up all three points as a result. Victory would see them cut the deficit to City to two points, and Rosicky feels the added attacking talent in their squad is winning them games they’d previously fall short in.
“Mesut was always a special talent and you could see that when he arrived here. He was out for some time last season so he couldn’t find his rhythm, but now, after playing since the start of the season, everyone here can see (how big a talent he is). He and Alexis are the game changers. Both of them have the strength to win games, so it’s vital for the team’s title chances that they perform well,” said the former Borussia Dortmund man.
The Arsenal duo have scored and assisted 27 goals between them in the Premier League this season. Can they lead the Gunners to glory?
