Arsenal’s goalkeeper Petr Cech is set to miss the Premier League side’s must-win derby game against Tottenham on Saturday after he picked up an injury against Everton in their 5-1 win over the Toffees.
The Gunners face a massive test on Saturday as they travel to face Tottenham. The gap between the two currently stands at four points, and if the Gunners are to lose then it will stretch to seven points, with their top four prospects shrinking even further.
Arsenal could not be going into the game in better form as they recently dismantled Everton. The Toffees were not given a chance in their match as they were thumped 5-1. Aaron Ramsey bagged a hat-trick while Laurent Koscielny and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rounded off the scoring.
While the game itself was hugely impressive with regard to their attacking-prowess, there was some cause for concern in the match. Petr Cech was forced off with injury and he is now reportedly a doubt for their match against Tottenham.
The Metro have reported that it is likely that Arsenal will be without the Czech Republic goalkeeper after he picked up a calf injury against Everton on Saturday.
If Cech is unable to play, then David Ospina will likely deputise, with the Colombian last playing a league game for Arsenal last April.
