Arsenal vs West Brom: Back Gunners at Cool 20/1 Betting Odds to Beat Baggies 0

Posted on September 22, 2017 by Milos Markovic

Arsenal will hope to continue the impressive run against West Bromwich Albion at the Emirates on Monday night.

The Baggies are yet to win a single game in north London for the past seven years and the Gunners will make sure their desperate stretch continues despite some serious selection issues Arsene Wenger is facing.

Influential midfielder Santi Cazorla is nowhere near to return from his Achilles Tendon injury, whereas Calum Chambers, Francis Coquelin and Danny Welbeck also miss out.

Theo Walcott is likely to be left out due to a knock he sustained during the Carabao Cup clash with Doncaster, whereas Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil both stand in line for a starting berth on Monday.

Raheem Sterling back on Arsenal radar 0

Posted on September 21, 2017 by Milos Markovic

Arsene Wenger remains the keen admirer of Raheem Sterling’s qualities and is reportedly thinking about going back for the Manchester City winger in January.

The Citizens are likely to use Wenger’s interest in the 22-year-old English international to leverage a deal for Alexis Sanchez as potential swap deal is already being mooted by the Mirror.

The Chilean star is unlikely to extend his deal with the north London club and although Wenger would rather not see him leave for Premier League rivals he will make sure to appease Arsenal fans with a respectable replacement.

Mesut Ozil returns to training following knee issue 0

Posted on September 20, 2017 by Milos Markovic

Germany international Mesut Ozil missed recent matches with FC Koln and Chelsea with Arsene Wenger offering little information as to the reason for his absence.

The World Cup winner offered explanation himself by posting a photo on his Instagram account on Tuesday night revealing he had suffered a minor inflammation to his knee.

Having missed the 3-1 Europa League win over Bundesliga side FC Koln and Gunners’ goalless draw with Premier League champions, Ozil is now back in training.

Manchester United looking to prise Alexis Sanchez with whopping sign-on fee 0

Things appear to be getting rather complicated in the Alexis Sanchez transfer saga.

The Chilean superstar had been pursued by Manchester City throughout the summer transfer window but the Citizens’ £60 million attempt ended up being unsuccessful since Arsenal failed to sign a replacement before the end of the window.

Pep Guardiola was left frustrated with Arsenal’s apparent incompetence and is expected to make a fresh approach in order to land the 28-year-old in January. However, the situation appears to has changed dramatically as the Manchester City boss is now facing competition from his fierce rival Jose Mourinho.

Mesut Ozil contract talks break down, German genius set to leave Arsenal 0

Posted on September 13, 2017 by Milos Markovic

If reports coming from Germany are anything to go by, Mesut Ozil will pack his bags and leave Arsenal on a free transfer next summer.

German playmaker is in the final year of his deal with the north London club but it appears that negotiations over the contract extension have broken down and that Ozil has decided to walk away from Arsenal at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has been one of the hottest transfer stories for months now as he is one of several Arsenal players nearing the end of their deal at the Emirates with the club actively trying to tie them down on new deals.

Ray Parlour: Arsenal can’t afford to lose against Bournemouth 0

Posted on September 08, 2017 by Crippy Cooke

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour believes the supporters could turn on the Gunners in Saturday’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth if the Cherries get something from the game.

The 44-year-old, who played for Arsenal between 1992 and 2004, called this weekend’s clash “such an important game”, given how poorly the London club have started the season.

Currently 16th in the Premier League table with three points from as many games, coming off the back of defeats against Stoke City and Liverpool, Arsenal have started the new season poorly.

Wenger accused of “brainwashing the media” 1

Posted on September 08, 2017 by Crippy Cooke

Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson says long-serving manager Arsene Wenger has “brainwashed the media”, after the Gunners have seemingly broken promises made in the summer. Robson feels Arsenal failed in the transfer market and haven’t improved from last season, which is likely to result in them finishing outside of the Champions League places again.

“I’ve often said Arsene Wenger has brainwashed the public, he’s brainwashed the media. Well I was brainwashed by the hype that was coming out of Arsenal at the start of the season,” Robson said on ESPN via the Express. “They (said they) were working harder on the defensive side of the game, they were working harder tactically on the training field.

Inter Milan forward reveals Arsenal interest 0

Inter Milan summer recruit Yann Karamoh claims Premier League club Arsenal wanted to sign him prior his loan move to Serie A.

Former Caen forward joined Nerazzurri on deadline day this summer in a transfer arrangement which will make his loan move permanent after two campaigns.

The 19-year-old is coming off from a breakthrough season in Ligue 1 during which he scored five goals and managed four assists in 36 competitive outings. Despite the tender age, Karamoh earned his place in the starting line-up at Caen thanks to his emerging qualities that got him on the radar of the host of European big sides last term.

Man City 6/1 Betting Odds to Land Alexis Sanchez in January, Guardiola expects £20M will Suffice 0

Posted on September 06, 2017 by Milos Markovic

The summer transfer window has only been shut but the story drags on.

Alexis Sanchez is still one of Arsenal’s hottest topics after it has been revealed that Manchester City failed in a transfer Deadline Day offer worth £55 million plus £5 million in add-ons for the Chilean.

The Gunners were keen to let the disgruntled star leave for City but only if they manage to find a proper replacement. Having failed in their own bid to land AS Monaco star Thomas Lemar on the last day of the market, Arsenal pulled the plug on any potential deal involving Alexis Sanchez.
