Iraqi international left-back Ali Adnan is attracting the interest of a host of sides this summer.
Arsenal, Sevilla, Galatasaray, and Al-Gharrafa have all been linked with the 19-year old defender. He currently plays for Baghdad FC in the Iraqi Premier League.
He’s represented Iraq on 17 occasions, and featured in this season’s U-20 World Cup. He played in the side which drew 2-2 against England’s U20s – scoring a terrific solo goal.
Once again, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is looking to the future, and regards Ali Adnan as a terrific prospect. While the Gunners currently have Kieran Gibbs and Ignacio Monreal fighting for the left-back spot, Adnan could provide stiff competition in the future should he sign for the London side.
The 19-year old is a pacey defender and full of energy. He is very attack-minded and is an expert set-piece taker. Adnan is certainly making a name for himself and will consider offers this summer.
His value is yet to be determined, but his asking price is reportedly a nominal fee.
The opportunity to play in Europe for one of the giants will prove too good to turn down for Adnan, and his time with Baghdad FC looks set to come to an end.
