Arsenal welcome Leicester to the Emirates in their Premier League opener on Friday night, and are big favourites to pick up all three points given how strong the Gunners are on home soil, compared to how poor the Foxes have been on the road in the last 12 months.
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal side finished fifth in the Premier League last season, boasting 14 wins and three draws from their 19 home games, and have been in good form in pre-season too. The Gunners are coming off the back of three wins from their last five games this summer and will fancy their chances against a Leicester outfit struggling for consistency.
As for the visitors, Craig Shakespeare’s Leicester City side have failed to win three of their last four pre-season fixtures ahead of Friday’ clash, and managed just two away wins in 19 last season. The Midlands club have struggled in head-to-heads with Arsenal since their promotion in 2014 too.
