Alexandre Lacazette has been explaining what qualities make Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil so good, with the strikeforce proving to be one of the deadliest in the Premier League this season. This is despite the fact the two have been almost constantly linked with a move away from the club.
Arsenal face a stern test in the form of Southampton on Sunday as they look to return to form. Their last game ended in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United, with the visiting side leaving the Emirates with all three points.
Arsenal were by far and away the better of the two teams, but they were halted by the inspired David de Gea, as the goalkeeper put in a world-class performance that only underlined his credentials as the best goalkeeper in the world.
The defeat left Arsenal a point behind fourth-placed Liverpool, with Tottenham now moving above the Gunners after their thumping win over Stoke on Saturday. It all points to Arsenal needing to win their next game.
Three players that will be instrumental for the London side going forward are Alexandre Lacazette, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, with the three forming a deadly strikeforce for the club.
In the build-up to their game against Southampton. Lacazette has revealed what the best qualities of both of his teammates are. He told Arsenal Player: “For Mesut, it’s about passes, his vision of the game and passes. And for Alexis, perseverance. He always wants to go further, be stronger and rise higher. As well as being very fast, he always wants go even further”.
Lacazette may have been heaping praise on his teammates, but the fans seem to have fallen for the French striker, with his blend of pace and finishing ability something they have missed for a number of years.
