Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for AC Milan youngster Stephan El Shaarawy recently, but yesterday his agent Roberto La Florio denied there was little chance of the 19 year-old joining the Gunners in the near future.
Shaarawy is currently half owned by Milan and Genoa and it was recently announced that he will stay at the San Siro after Genoa receive another €15m euros from Milan as settlement for full ownership.
Florio said: “Arsenal have always admired him, even before his transfer to Milan, but the Rossoneri have already agreed the price for the total owenership and I don’t think that they will renounce to him. In any case, he is happy at Milan”.
Considering that Milan have now paid a total of €25m to Genoa for Shaarawy, there is no chance that Arsene Wenger would consider paying that much for an unproven youngster who has only scored two goals in 19 appearances for the Italian giants, no matter how promising he looks!
